  • Added support for Elevation Plot navigation data screen (Settings > Navigation > Data Screens > Elevation Plot). Note: this screen should give a ‚glanceable‘ indication of effort remaining along the course being navigated. It shows completed (in green) and future (in blue, if available in the course) altitude data plotted over the distance of the navigation. Installation Instructions

  1. Connect your fenix 3 HR to your computer using the USB cable. Download and unzip Fenix3HR_Beta.zip. Place the gupdate.rgn file in the GARMIN folder of your device’s internal storage drive. (Look at the step below for peripheral updates.) Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish. If you would like to revert to the last public release software, follow the above steps but place the gupdate_220.rgn file in the GARMIN folder. Rename the file to gupdate.rgn before disconnecting your device. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.
  2. Place gup1909.bin, gup2196.gcd, gup2414.bin and gup2415.gcd in GARMINRemoteSW folder.
